Characterization
Intended for direct coating and renovation painting of steel, galvanised steel, cast iron, aluminium for corrosion protection and decorative purposes, - for thick-layer corrosion protection: - in construction: roofs, gutters, window sills, fences, etc., - in industry: support structures, high voltage line structures, viaducts, bridges, street lanterns, elements of machines and equipment, etc.
The coating is: - smooth, - semi-matt, - well adhesive, - elastic, - very quick-drying, - show no dripping from vertical surfaces for wet layer of up to 300 µm thick, - thermoplastic, - resistant to moisture, slightly acidic and slightly alkaline environment, - resistant to weather conditions (UV, acid rain). LOWICYN-tixo protective coating can be used in environments featuring atmospheric corrosivity category C2, C3, C4, C5-1, C5-M.
